Capacity Building of Employers' Organizations on Productivity and Competitiveness

The overall development objective is to contribute to improving the productivity and competitiveness among the private sector enterprises in the countries encompassed by the project. The immediate objectives are to develop and strengthen the capacities of employers’ organizations to enable them to provide and deliver services to member enterprises and potential members on the issue of productivity and competitiveness at enterprise level as well as at the national policy level. Activities have included setting up Productivity Units in employers’ organizations, conducting studies on productivity and competitiveness, developing enterprise-level productivity measurement tools, conducting training and information workshops, and entering dialogue with national authorities and institutions on improving competitive environment.
