ILO-Japan Regional Programme for Capacity Building of Occupational Safety and Health in Agriculture (Vietnam Chapter)

The project objectives are:; (1) strengthen national OSH policy and programme; (2) establish provincial-level OSH mechanisms for OSH in agriculture; and (3) build farmers’ own capacities to improve OSH through participatory training. The project main activities include: national policy workshops to design national OSH programme in line with Convention No. 187, to make a feasibility study on possible ratification of Convention No. 184, and to train farmer OSH volunteers by using the WIND (Work Improvement in Neighbourhood Development) training programme.
