Developing a Joint Trade Union-Cooperative Strategy to reduce poverty by creating decent jobs (SYNDICOOP)
Five pilot projects were initiated to organize workers in the informal economy by strengthening the capacities of trade unions and cooperatives. The aim of the project was to improve the working and living conditions of unprotected informal economy workers. Now this project is linked with the new project on youth employment in South Africa (SAY-JUMP).
