Pilot Communication Campaign on Technical Cooperation Projects

The objective of the campaign was to increase visibility for Italian Cooperation-funded projects managed by the ILO in a number of countries (including Peru, Ecuador, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Zambia, Pakistan, India, Argentina, Trinidad & Tobago, Burkina Faso, Palestine, Uzbekistan). The strategy was to enhance the awareness of the ILO in Italy through increased press coverage of ILO work, improvement of the ILO Rome website and the production of specific promotional materials (posters, booklets, fact sheets, web-based videos, etc.). As well, DCOMM continued to produce broadcast quality video news reports of the Italian-funded projects for dissemination through international broadcasters such as RAI, CNN, BBC World and EuroNews.
