USDOL/ILO International HIV/AIDS workplace education programme - an accelerated response in Trinidad and Tobago
The ILO/USDOL HIV/AIDS Workplace Education Programme for Trinidad and Tobago is aimed at achieving a reduced level of employment-related discrimination against persons living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, and reduced HIV/AIDS risk behaviours among targeted workers. The Programme’s immediate objectives include increased knowledge of HIV/AIDS Workplace Policy or Guidelines; improved knowledge and attitudes related to HIV/AIDS risk behaviours; increased awareness and use of available HIV/AIDS Workplaces Services; and, reduced stigma against persons living with HIV/AIDS.
