- Recognising the role brands and retailers play in improving factory working conditions, strengthen BW partnership with their key supply chain partners (intermediaries and sourcing agents). The brands’ support to BW are key to improve efforts of suppliers to maximize impact, they can complement and reinforce BW’s assistance to factories.

- Countries with lower wages and less respect for working conditions are tempting brands to move to new locations. This is indeed an issue of great concern in Nicaragua, where national stakeholders are concerned about brands are moving to other countries with lower wages and/or respect for decent work; which could result in factories closing and workers losing their jobs.
