The National Employment Strategy (NES) formulation process was launched in March 2021. As part of the inception, the project facilitated an initial tripartite dialogue, which led to the adoption of the Employment Governance (EGF) in Sept 2021. Following this, the project sponsored a broad-based consultation for the employment strategy preparation, adequately engaging key stakeholders at national, sectoral and subnational levels. These social dialogues finally led to the formulation of the NES.
