recommendations:
title:
The project team in Tunisia should continue to advocate for the adoption of maternity benefits during the life of the project through advocacy and lobbying to ensure the buy-in of all relevant stakeholders in Tunisia. This is not likely to require additional resources just a reformulation of existing work plans.

comments:
The efforts made by the team in the first phase resulted in the establishment of a commission within the Ministry of Women, Family, Childhood and Elderly to revise laws related to maternity. This commission developed a second draft report (the first one was rejected), that is currently being revised by the government. The project team will only be able to move forward, if the draft document gets approved by the government then passed to parliament for final approval.
