recommendations:
title:
Provide equipment for the trainees who graduate from the Vocational Skills Courses There is little point in getting children to enroll and remain in Community Vocational Skills Centres (CVSCs) if the skills acquired are not put in good use. Considering that the trainees come from vulnerable family, the graduates cannot afford to buy equipment for use despite the skills acquired. Additionally, due to their humble education, the trainees cannot find formal jobs. It is, therefore, JTI should assist the graduates to acquire equipment for their use.

JTI was advised of this recommendation, they are implementing ARISE III in the same communities and supporting some of the children. Under the ILO Addressing Decent Work Deficits in the Tobacco Sector of Zambia which was a follow up to the ARISE project, select 153 youth (92 males, 61 females) in the target communities have received equipment to start their business in carpetry, tailoring and bricklaying.
