action_plan:
- In Egypt, the roll-out of the Gender Equality at Work and Role of Trade Unions, delayed because of the COVID-19 context, is still in the pipeline. This roll-out will be implemented by the 13 Trade Unionists who graduated from the Training of Trainers Programme (ToT) delivered by the project on the same subject in 2019. The project has already been tracking women memberships in Trade Unions, through the already published Study on Women in Trade Unions in Egypt (2018) and the Study on Women in Trade Union Structures in Tunisia (2020). The project will make sure to keep updating these studies.
comments:
The situation in Egypt remains fragile regarding FoA, but the project work with all unions including those which are not yet recognized.
