The SSE policy work in South Africa furthermore inspired the African Union Commission (AUC) to develop a SSE strategy and 10 year implementation plan for African member states, which was also translated into the 4 official languages of the AU. The strategy was endorsed in the April 2022 STC Ministerial meeting. The project supported the development of the strategy as its final action.
