Project design should mainstream gender in the situation analysis, the project goals, outputs, indicators, and monitoring and evaluation framework. Sex disaggregated data should be included in the situation analysis, baseline data, and indicators so that gender equality outcomes may be monitored throughout the project and properly evaluated in the midterm review and final project evaluation. Consider including these elements in a project document template.
