7. Undertake a mid-term review whenever severe delays or challenges are encountered during implementation, to guide any design readjustments and provide the way forward for a project Whenever severe delays or challenges are encountered during the implementation of a project, project management is highly encouraged to conduct a mid-term review of the project in line with ILO guidance for results-based evaluations. The mid-term reviews should take place during the implementation of projects, and aim to assess the continued relevance of an intervention and progress made towards achieving its planned objectives. Therefore, mid-term reviews offer an opportunity to make evidence-based modifications to the project to ensure that objectives are achieved.
