- Recommendation 4: Not only workers but their immediate supervisors should be included in the workplace adaptation programs. Workplace adaptation programs mostly focus on improving capacities of workers and their peer groups. To get the most benefit from the enabling environment intended to be established and to increase the institutional ownership, it is recommended to include immediate supervisors of these workers in the program by designing specific complementary programs for them.
