title:
7. ILO-SECTOR is recommended to systematically include attention to gender, inclusion and environmental sustainability aspects, during all phases of project implementation and to systematically include dedicated sections in its plans, reports and communication deliverables to ensure that aspects remain visible during project implementation. Attention to gender and inclusion should go beyond reporting on participation of men and women in activities, though it should also describe the differential effects of actions on men and women, youth and elderly, people living with a disability and migrant workers, if and where relevant.

action_plan:
As pointed out to and acknowledged by the independent evaluator in several parts of the final report, gender was systematically mainstreamed into all aspects of the project, from research to policy recommendations. As per the recommendation, more attention will be devoted to issues related to inclusion and environmental sustainability in the follow-up project.
comments:
The project team would like to clarify that attention given to gender and inclusion in the SSCBFB project went well beyond “reporting on participation of men and women in activities”. it has systematically included attention to gender, inclusion and environmental sustainability aspects in all aspects of project implementation. In line with ILO project cycle management guidelines, the team will continue to do so for the implementation of the new Supply Chains for a Sustainable Future of Work project.
