- title:
- 5) Improve the Outreach to companies through the Chambers, and where there is not sufficient trust between companies and Chambers explore alternative intermediaries for example NGOs.

- action_plan:
- Chambers are members of the ILO employer constituent. We should give priority to constituents - in particular when they are good - on NGOs
- comments:
- •In Egypt, the NGOs relation with the private sector barely exist. The reach out to the private sector companies has been established through the chambers and the lead firms. Taking into consideration the economic situation of the country, the pandemic, and the global economic crisis, the SMEs were reluctant to participate in the project activities though beneficial for them, to avoid additional improvement commitments.
• The project reverted to other national structures like the engineering export council to reach out to the lead enterprises
